Calvary Community Church Phoenix gets the job done!
![]() | About Calvary Community ChurchCalvary Community Church, a center of Christian worship and fellowship, began its mission of worship and service in 1982 in Phoenix, Arizona. In the thirty years since that time, Pastor J. Mark Martin and a staff of assistant and associate pastors, deacons, elders, and interns have led the congregation in spreading the good news of salvation by faith. Calvary leads five services each week in two locations as well as a variety of meetings, classes, and ministry groups in praise of Jesus Christ.Calvary Community Church hosts services on Saturday evenings, Sunday mornings and Sunday evenings, with Sunday morning services simulcast live between the central campus in Phoenix and the northwest campus in nearby Glendale. The Phoenix central campus, located on North Black Canyon Highway, also offers a Wednesday night service. Many of Calvary's prayer groups and ministries meet surrounding the service times as well, with details available on the church website. A non-denominational church belonging to the Calvary Chapel fellowship of churches, Calvary Community Church hosts offerings for men, women, couples, singles, seniors, and children. Many ministries are age-focused to give groups such as teens and young adults a venue for faith-centered peer interaction. Other ministries focus on a particular service goal, such as evangelism or food outreach. Calvary Community Church holds as its primary goals the praise and exaltation of Jesus, the spreading of the Gospel and its hope of salvation in Christ, and the teaching of the Word of God. Calvary Community Church and its people provide a place of worship through which to spread these messages and share the unquestionable Word of God in the form of the Holy Bible. |
